Jamie Anne Richardson
Jamie Anne Richardson was born in Houston, Texas 30-something years ago. As a toddler she (and her parents, logically) moved to a small town in East Texas called Whitehouse. Not White House or even White Horse as so many UIL competitions announced… the town is called Whitehouse. The town got its name because the first occupant had (surprise, surprise) a little white house.
Jamie lived in Whitehouse from the time she was two until she graduated from Tyler Junior College. During that time she met and married her knight in shining red hair who swept the Fair Damsel off to College Station where she double majored in journalism and sociology, minored in English, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After college she worked for a year as a “real” editor, then resigned to become a church administrator, children’s pastor, and eventually a youth pastor’s wife.
Jamie now resides in a small town outside of Dallas and raises her three kids thereby splitting her days between Super Mom cape and writer’s bifocals. She is working on her first women’s fiction novel which she swears (or promises, I should say… a southern lady never swears), will be worth the wait. Until its final debut, you can follow her adventures on her blog and catch some of her freelance work in Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Find Your Happiness.
