I have been debating a lot about what to do with this blog now that much of my nonfiction writing is going to bigger sites like Babble, Mamapedia, HuffPost and Dallas Morning News.
Considering my heart is in fiction, I have decided to try something that I haven’t seen done before. I’m going to blog it.
Blogging fiction, what are you nuts?
Absolutely. But my hope is that I can learn what my readers like and that more readers can learn my style. I see my writing as a longterm career and not a short term hobby. I want to be entertaining to my readers but, selfishly, I want to grow too. I think that having my fiction readily available on the web will help me reach my goals.
That being said, I’ve never seen anyone do this before, so please understand that there may be tweaks to the setup along the way.
You are welcome to copy the link and share the stories with any of your family, friends, and total strangers. All that I ask is that you not copy the stories themselves without giving me and this site credit. Like I said, they are free already and my goal here is to gain readership and to better my craft.
If you subscribe to my site below, the stories will even be sent straight to you as well as getting the news on my other venues. That’s service is free too. (And considering the second installment of the Roberson Ladies will be released in about a month… you might wanna jump on board with that list.)
